How to install 3Eyes
Getting set up takes just a few minutes. You install 3Eyes on the Windows computer your child uses, sign in with your parent account, and choose what they’re allowed to do.
Before you start
- Install 3Eyes on the Windows PC your child uses (not your phone). You manage everything else from your phone or any browser.
- You’ll need a parent account. You can create one during setup if you don’t have one yet.
Step by step
- Download the app. On your child’s computer, open the Download page and save the 3Eyes installer.
- Run the installer. Open the downloaded file and follow the prompts. If Windows asks for permission to make changes, choose Yes so 3Eyes can protect the computer.
- Sign in. When 3Eyes opens, sign in with your parent account, or create one right there if this is your first time.
- Set up your child’s account. 3Eyes protects a child’s Windows user account. If your child doesn’t have their own account yet, follow Create a Windows user account first.
- Choose what’s allowed. Pick approved websites and set up YouTube curation and screen-time limits from your dashboard. You can change these any time.
That’s it. Once installed and signed in, 3Eyes runs quietly in the background and protects your child’s account. Approve new requests and adjust settings from your phone whenever you like.
Which browsers are supported
3Eyes filters the web in Chrome and Edge. Firefox isn’t supported because it blocks the proxy 3Eyes relies on, so we recommend keeping your child on Chrome or Edge.
Install 3Eyes on your child’s account, not your own. If you share one computer, set your child up with their own Windows account so their limits don’t affect you.
